The youngest members of the Borsika Folk Dance Ensemble, are mostly children of kindergarten and primary school age. Considering the age of this group, the programme of the one-hour weekly session consists of children’s folk games, rhythm exercises, circle games, as well as learning children’s and folk songs. This age group does not yet learn folk dance as such, but the rhythm exercises and folk children’s games are used to lay the foundations for later folk dance. The group for 4-6-year olds is led by Zsuzsánna Törzsök.
